St. Louis Weather

Civitas prefers to be more than a "bump in the road" for students along the road to adulthood.  We like to help students who want to go to college achieve their hopes, and whenever possible, stay in contact with students as they become adults (note our Alumni and Friends programs).

In cooperation with the Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis, the Independent School Placement Center, as well as the college counseling department of Crossroads School, we provide a Fall workshop for high school seniors on applying to college and requesting financial assistance.  Beginning in the Spring of 2004, we will be providing a similar workshop for juniors.  We work with interested students throughout the school year to help them consider their options.

At the end of each school year, Civitas provides ten seniors with $500 scholarships for college.  The students are selected on the basis of their performance in Civitas programs.
