You and your family are welcome to join us at this
pre-election event!
Pull up a lawn chair or blanket and attend this free outdoor showing of the 2008
release "Swing Vote". All ages are welcome to attend.
Here's some important information regarding this event:
(+) Socializing starts at 6; the movie starts at dusk.
(+) While all candidates are highly encouraged to attend this event and mingle
with residents, there will not be a time designated for the candidates to
address the entire crowd. In simpler terms, no "stump-speeches" will be given.
(+) The first 100 people at the event will receive a customizable campaign
button that you can either use as a name-tag or to support your favorite
candidate(s)!
(+) In the case of a rain-out, the event will be held in the Faith Hall of St.
John's UCC. (St. John's is located at 307 West Clay.)
(+) Concessions will be available to purchase from the Collinsville Jaycees. The
members of this group do great things for the community, so be sure to bring a
few dollars to support them by buying popcorn, candy, soda, etc.
