Dear Greeting,

Thanks to everyone who made it to the "country draft" a week ago Saturday at Crossroads. We had an excellent turnout and 97 delegations were filled. Enclosed with this mailing is a listing of the selections for the General Assembly. The Security Council roster is listed below.

Also enclosed with this mailing (for faculty advisors only) is the Delegate Roster Form. We ask that each school submit the names of its students who will be in the Gateway Model U.N., including the country they will represent and the committee in which they will serve. Any delegate preferring not to be listed in the Handbook should place an asterisk by his or her name. The Delegate Roster Form should be returned to the MUN office by Friday, October 24.

Our delegate handbook is one of the few ways in which the Gateway Model U.N. is able to raise funds. We have ads for sale ranging from $10.00 to $75.00. The delegate handbook is a good place to promote a school, club, business, or organization. We have enclosed a delegate handbook ad form for your convenience. Please feel free to make additional copies.

We are also getting our delegation together for MUNUC (Model United Nations of the University of Chicago) which will be from January 29 – February 1. The cost is expected to be $350. The twenty students who have already indicated interest are:
