Poem
Our
World is a Kaleidoscope
by

Turning
a kaleidoscope,
Many
wonders are seen.
Myriads
of colors connecting,
Enriching
one another,
Forming
innovative patterns together.
All
because diversity brings creativity.
There
is a reason to sing in a kaleidoscope.
There
is diversity,
There
is creativity.
What
greater reason can there be?
Diversity,
creativity…
Our
world is a kaleidoscope.
There
are myriads of cultures
That
can do so much together,
Because
diversity brings creativity.
Each
culture is an element for diversity,
Together
making a global mosaic
Filled
with creativity.
We
share our differences and similarities
Enriching
one another,
Knowing
we are connected.
There
is a reason to sing in a kaleidoscope.
Kaleidoscope…
Sometimes
we miss the chance of ever knowing
Our
global neighbors.
We
create a land of broken bridges
Between
cultures.
Unable
to build them over obstacles
Like
war and isolation.
Isn’t
this strange?
Turn,
turn, turn the kaleidoscope.
I
look once more,
Just
turning the kaleidoscope.
I
see every culture is bridgeable;
A
perspective of tolerance and humanity…
Our
broken bridges become crossroads,
Over
any obstacles,
Knowing
we are connected
Through
friendship and hope.
Myriads
of cultures forming a global mosaic
Seeing
that diversity brings creativity.
I
need bridges,
Bridges
between cultures over any obstacle.
I
need cultures,
All
the cultures for diversity.
We
can do so much together,
We
make our world a kaleidoscope.
A
kaleidoscope.
