Whereas Article 25 section 1 of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states, “Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well being of himself and family, including food, clothing, housing, and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age, or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control.”, and

Whereas Article 3 of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states, “Everyone has the right to life, liberty, and security of person.”, and

Whereas growing and selling illicit drugs is destroying life and not making money or jobs for the people, and

Concerned about more than 840 million in the world are malnourished and 799 million of them are from the developing world, and

Alarmed by more than 153 million of them are under the age of five, and

Acknowledging that of the 6.2 billion people in today’s world, 1.2 billion live on less than $1 a day,

Be It Hereby Resolved That The General Assembly:

Establishing in the PREAMBLE the principles that apply in the resolution:

 Whereas Article 4 of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states, “No one shall be held in slavery or servitude; slavery or the slave trade shall be prohibited in all their forms.”, and

Whereas Article 24 of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states, “Everyone has the right to rest and leisure, including reasonable limitation of working hours and periodic holidays with pay.”, and

Alarmed that the child labor population in Indonesia is 11 million and that one in every ten prostitutes is under 17, and

Ashamed that in India the literacy rate is only 48% due to children having to work in sweatshops instead of attending school,

Be It Hereby Resolved That The General Assembly:

1.      All countries with a GDP over $25,000 that have factories, etc. in the following countries of Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, China, and Indonesia pay a 2% tax to ship the products elsewhere.

2.      The money generated will be used to pay for the job training of people over 17 to build schools, hire teachers, and purchase supplies.

3.      The money spending will be supervised by two delegates for the countries of Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, China, and Indonesia; the delegates being from the countries that have the top six literacy rates.

4.      The name of this commission will be the United Nations Commission to Abolish Child Labor and Improve Literacy.

5.      The program will be initially authorized for 6 years, on the 4th year the General Assembly will commence discussion on renewal of the program.

Whereas Article 3 of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states, “Everyone has the right to life, liberty, and the security of person.”, and

Whereas Article 4 of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states, “No one shall be held in slavery or servitude; slavery or the slave trade shall be prohibited in all their forms.”, and

Whereas Article 5 of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states, “No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhumane or degrading treatment or punishment.”, and

Whereas Article 8 of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states, “Everyone has the right to an effective remedy by the competent national tribunals for acts violating the fundamental rights granted him by the constitution or by law.”, and

Noting that prostitution widely spreads HIV, AIDS, and other STDs, and

Concerned that 1-2 million women and children are forced into prostitution, and

Realizing that there are over 40 million AIDS victims currently world wide, and

Concerned that 3 million victims died last year alone, and

Gravely concerned that victims in most countries can’t afford treatments,

Be It Hereby Resolved That the General Assembly:

1.      Request that laws against prostitution be better enforced.

2.      Children be kept in school longer and are better educated about the hazards of unprotected sex.

3.      Countries with STD victims set up clinics for physical and emotional support.

4.      Capable countries send medical technicians to help these clinics.

5.      Request that .3% of each country’s military funding be used to research a cure for AIDS that will benefit all victims.

Whereas Article 25, section 1 of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states, “Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and his family including food.”, and

Whereas Article 3 of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states, “Everyone has a right to life.”, and

Whereas over one billion men, women, and children do not have safe water to drink and they cannot live a healthy life.  People living in overcrowded, urban ghettos, refugee encampments, and in towns and villages do not have clean water.  At this moment, many communities in over fifty countries throughout the world are suffering needlessly because water is either insufficient, polluted, or may not exist at all, and

Whereas everyday, almost 40,000 men, women, and children die from diseases directly related to drinking polluted water, and

Whereas a full 80 percent of fatal childhood diseases that kill children and destroy families worldwide is a main cause of drinking contaminated water,

Be it Hereby Resolved That the United Nations Security Council:

1.      We ask for member nations to have a volunteer program for donations that may be added to citizens’ water bills.

2.       Member nations would collect the money and send it on to the United Nations environmental committees.

3.      The United Nations would send the money to nations who need help with their water supply.

4.      This program will last for two years and then would be reviewed for renewal.

Establishing in the PREAMBLE the principles that apply in the resolution:

Recognizing that the word abortion means (as found in the Webster’s Dictionary), “the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, resulting in, or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus: as a: spontaneous expulsion of a human fetus during the first 12 weeks of gestation; as b: induced expulsion of a human fetus; or as c: expulsion of a fetus by a domestic animal often due to infection at any time before completion of pregnancy.” As even a small child knows, something has to be alive before you can kill it, and

Whereas Article 3, of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states that, “Everyone has the right to life, liberty, and the security of person.” The unborn child is a person and has the rights to those rights in Article 3. If the unborn child has been killed, then its rights have been violated, and

Whereas Article 5, of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states that, “No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhumane or degrading treatment or punishment.” We believe that killing a person is considered as torture, and 

 Whereas Article 7, of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states that, “All are equal before the law and are entitled without any discrimination to equal protection of the law. All are entitled to equal protection against any discrimination in violation of this Declaration and against any incitement to such discrimination.”, and

Whereas Article 22, of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states that, “Everyone, as a member of society, has the right to social security and is entitled to realization, through national effort and international cooperation and in accordance with the organization and resources of each State, of the economic, social and cultural rights indispensable for his dignity and the free development of his personality.”, and

Whereas Article 25, Section 2 of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states that, “Motherhood and childhood are entitled to special care and assistance.”, and

Whereas Article 27, Section 1 of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states that, “Everyone has the right to freely participate in the cultural life of the community, to enjoy the arts and to share in scientific advancement and its benefits.”, and

Whereas Article 28 of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states that, “Everyone is entitled to a social and international order in which the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration can be fully realized.”, and

Whereas Article 6 of the Children’s Bill of Rights states that children have the right to “participate in decisions affecting children”. We believe that a decision to kill a child through abortion is a decision affecting the child, and

Whereas Article 8 of the Children’s Bill of Rights states that “Children should be treated with respect and courtesy by adults.” If an adult kills a child, then the child is not being shown respect and courtesy from adults, and

Whereas Article 14 of the Children’s Bill of Rights states that, “Every child has the right to a standard of living adequate for his or her physical, mental, spiritual, moral, and social development, no matter how wealthy his or her parents are.” The child’s rights stated in Article 14 of the Children’s Bill of Rights are being violated if they are killed, and

Whereas Article 15 of the Children’s Bill of Rights states that, “Children have the right to be protected from all forms of maltreatment by any adult, including a parent. This includes but is not limited to: physical abuse, including torture, violence, hitting and slapping; harmful drugs, including alcohol and tobacco; mental abuse; and sexual abuse.” The child is not being protected from all forms of maltreatment by any adult, including a parent if the parent administers abortion-harmful drugs-to him or her, and by so doing killing the child, and

Whereas Article 15 of the Children’s Bill of Rights states that, “infanticide (abortion) is prohibited.”, and

Whereas Article 23 of the Children’s Bill of Rights states that, “Children have the right to be kept alive and in the best health and medical care that science can provide, no matter how wealthy the parents are.” The child’s right to be kept alive is violated if an abortion is performed, and

Noting that by six weeks after conception, a child’s heart has been beating for several weeks, and

Acknowledging that Ronald Reagan said in 1983, “I have often said that when we talk about abortion, we are talking about two lives-the life of the mother and the life of the unborn child. Why else do we call a pregnant woman a mother?”, and

Recognizing that the Declaration of Independence, which is a document for all free peoples states, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, which among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” Is an unborn child not “created”, and

Realizing that “research indicates at 13 weeks, a child in the womb can feel distress”, and

Horrified that research shows that, “some abortion procedures involve chemicals that literally burn the child alive with saline; others tear the limbs from the body.” Michael Quinn Sullivan says that, “Any adult can grasp the horror of being covered in acid that slowly dissolves their body. Soldiers in combat shriek uncontrollably when a device of war severs a limb. What response does a young child have? Would the horrors of battle wounds be mitigated if we anesthetized the soldiers beforehand? Would we mind being eaten alive by a saline-solution compound as long as we are given large doses of laughing gas? Would are revulsion at the Nazi regime be eliminated if we were to discover that Hitler provided anesthesia to the Jews before gassing them or lining them up before the firing squad? Would society shrug its collective shoulders and turn the other way if a parent anesthetized a child before beating him? Dr. Glover (An abortion provider who says that they should use anesthesia before abortion to numb the unborn child’s pain) would have us believe that all form of cruelty against our fellow man is permissible as long as we deaden the senses with drugs.”, and

Disturbed that 22% of the pregnancies in the world end in abortion, this is about one fourth of the pregnancies in the world, and

Encouraged that in Columbia, Chile, Egypt, Honduras, parts of the West Indies, Central African Republic, Bhutan, and parts of the Philippines, abortion is fully illegal, and

 Greatly concerned that in most parts of the world abortion is legal.

Be It Hereby Resolved That The General Assembly:

1.      Urge member nations willing to cooperate make abortion illegal without a prescription.

2.      Urge member nations willing to cooperate make strict regulations on getting a special prescription, and only allow abortion to save a mother’s life.

3.      Urge member nations willing to cooperate give unborn children their rights.

4.      Urge member nations willing to cooperate in making abortion illegal (except to save the mother’s life), keep strict watch and regulations on all doctors, enforce doctors to have special certification to write abortion prescriptions, and only give a limited number of certifications each decade.

5.      Urge member nations willing to cooperate in making abortion illegal agree to prosecute any violators.

6.      Urge the United Nations to create and add an Article 31 of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS stating rights of life for unborn children.

Establishing in the PREAMBLE the principles that apply in this resolution:

Whereas the preamble of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states, “Whereas recognition of the inherit dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world,” and

Whereas the preamble of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states, “Whereas it is essential to promote the development of friendly relations between nations,” and

Whereas Article 27, Section 1 of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states, “Everyone has the right freely to participate in the cultural life of the community to enjoy the arts and to share in scientific advancement and its benefits,”

Stating in the PREAMBLE the problems that exist:

Whereas the population in rural communities are subject to a standard of living below that of people in city or town communities where power exists, and

Whereas in city areas where fossil fuels are used in excessive amounts, the pollution level is unhealthy to the population and the environment, and

Whereas some current tension between nations is brought about by the accusations of using profits from exported goods to produce weapons of mass destruction. We believe that the exploration and introduction of alternative power sources for automobiles, planes, power plants, and all other fuel dependant things would help release this tension.

Be It Hereby Resolved That the General Assembly:

1.      Request that all member nations and all car producing countries agree to assess a 1% tax on all cars sold.

2.      The money gathered from this tax be placed in a separate fund to be used for the research, testing, and administrative costs of an alternate power source.

3.      The countries that are affected by this tax will appoint two qualified persons to be chosen to represent their country in this research program.  These people will be interviewed by the Security Council and selected for the research program.

4.      The name of this commission will be United Nation Fuel Alternative Program. (U.N.F.A.P.)

5.      The Program will be initially authorized for five years.  In the third year of the program, the General Assembly will commence discussion of renewal of the program.
