Barack Obama won the Missouri primary on Tuesday, Feb. 5 by approximately 10,000 votes.  Of the 113 counties in the state, he prevailed in only six:

• Boone County (Columbia [University of Missouri])
• Cole County (Jefferson City)
• Jackson County (Kansas City)
• Nodaway County (near extreme northwest corner of state; Largest town: Maryville [Northwest Missouri State University])
• St. Louis City
• St. Louis County
