Saturday, April 29th join Civitas for an engaging workshop on Fake News. We will be joined by a special guest presenter, Julie Smith, author of Master the Media: How Teaching Media Literacy Can Save Our Plugged-in World. Julie teaches at both Webster University and Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville. There will be a discussion on how to spot bogus news, check sources, and become a more savvy media consumer.
