What's it like to run for office as a 22-year-old? - CIVITAS-STL

IMPORTANT: Due to the ice storm we are postponing this event. It will now be on Monday, January 16th. It will still be 9-11 am at the Civitas office.

Saturday, January 14, Civitas is hosting a special Issues Roundtable. We will be joined by former Civitas student, Luke Babich. Luke graduated from University City High School, majored in political science at Stanford University, and then came back to St. Louis to make a difference. He ran for city councilman in University City but was defeated (by a mere 7 points!) by the incumbent. Luke will talk to students about the lessons he learned running for office and also about what young people can do to stay engaged in their community.

The issues roundtable will be from 9-11 am at the Civitas office. Students should RSVP in advance by filling out the form below.

We are at max capacity for this event. No more sign-ups will be accepted.
