Saturday, February 9, 2019 will be the Civitas Spring Model UN Session. It will be a standard Model United Nations session with students from various schools representing countries to work on resolutions. Like the previous sessions in Nov./Dec. 2018 it will be held at the Creve Coeur Drury Inn.
We received a large number of resolutions at the 4 fall sessions we were unable to discuss. Student delegates are encouraged to resubmit their resolution (edited/revised if they like) and they will be given preferential treatment in the agenda.
- Even if you did not attend one of the 4 fall sessions you are invited to participate in the Feb. Model UN.
- Registration is mandatory.
- Country draft results from the fall sessions can be found here. Returning delegates can represent the same country they had in the fall. New delegates will select a nation upon registration.
- Right now we are only having a morning session from 8:30-11:30 am. If there is enough interest that may change.
- Resolutions for the session can be found here.
- The deadline for submitting/resubmitting resolutions is Feb. 6th at 5:00 PM.
