Join Civitas on Saturday, April 21st for a special guest speaker. Mandi Kowalski (a former Civitas student) now works for PROMO. PROMO is Missouri’s statewide organization advocating for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender equality through legislative action, electoral politics, grassroots organizing, and community education. Mandi will be coming to answer questions and talk about what is going on locally concerning discrimination and politics concerning the LGBTQ+ community.
- The event will be from 9-11 am at the Civitas office
