In conjunction with our Saturday, April 16 tour of radioactive sites in and around St. Louis, Civitas welcomes students to a showing of the film “The First Secret City” on Thursday, April 7. The documentary is about the history of these sites and what present challenges remain.
The showing is at the Schlafly Bottleworks in Maplewood, 7260 Southwest Ave.; 63143 (map). We ask students to arrive at 6:30 PM and the program will conclude at 9:30 PM. Civitas was pay admission fees for students as well as food. One of the directors of the film will be available to answer questions following the showing.
