Maine Citizens for Clean Elections Action Planning Session - CIVITAS-STL

Maine Citizens for Clean Elections Action Planning Session

After meeting with hundreds of students at more than a dozen schools, Andrew Bossie and Alison Smith of MAINE CITIZENS FOR CLEAN ELECTIONS will coordinate with us a “what can we do from here” session on Saturday, April 23.

This program is open to Civitas students and teachers. It will be a brainstorming session on what can be done in Missouri and Illinois to try to diminish the role of money in elections and to make the whole process cleaner. Civitas is also inviting local and state politicians to join us and learn about how the successes in the state of Maine were accomplished.

The gathering is at the Drury Inn Creve Coeur; 11980 Olive Blvd.; 63141 (map), beginning at 9:00 AM and wrapping up at 11:00 AM.
